An easy life can make one soft. Which one is better than the other? Certainly, there are mutitudes of underlying ideas than these simple observations. To paraphrase the movie, there is more than meets the eye. Take the scriptures or the koran. They seem to preach something relating to god, and conflict is what follows from accepting one or the other. I have often been discombobolated by this situation and I cannot believe that one is superior to the other. Surely, there are other quantities at work than a simple belief in one or the other. One god is fine with me and there are many belief systems that allow for a multiplicity of gods.
